Azra Mehmeti

Azra is a Registered Psychologist with extensive experience working with children, adolescents, families, and adults. Having worked under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and in various settings—including community-based mental health services and the Victoria University Psychology Clinic—Azra brings a compassionate, collaborative approach to therapy. She is skilled at supporting clients through challenges related to:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Life transitions and challenging events
  • Grief and loss
  • Social and relationship difficulties
  • Sleep issues
  • Parenting challenges
  • Neurodevelopmental disorders, including ASD, ADHD, and learning disabilities

Azra employs evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and psychometric cognitive assessments. She also has expertise in administering and interpreting a variety of psychometric assessments, such as the WISC-V, WPPSI, neuropsychological assessments, and mood assessments, to guide treatment plans and provide individualized care.

Passionate about creating a warm, empathetic, person-centred environment, Azra fosters a therapeutic space where clients feel supported, heard, and empowered. While she works with clients across the lifespan, she particularly enjoys supporting children aged 8 and up, helping them develop resilience and navigate life’s challenges.
